The s**t got real for the Republican party now.
With Trump on the cusp of solidifying his delegate lead and locking down the Republican presidential nomination, the party is frantically trying to upend his campaign.
What started out with an agreement required of all Republican candidates to endorse the eventual nominee, has ended with the beginnings of an all out farce. No one believed that Trump wouldn't renege if it suited him, but after an initial reticence, he promised to endorse the Republican nominee. Now it's the Republican party itself whose collective pants are about to ignite.
Surprising? No. Revealing? Yes.
