The only hope for the Hispanics is if they don't fall into the same trap that the Jews, blacks and women have already succumbed to. As Joe Lieberman and Eric Cantor shame the Jews, Michael Steele and Clarence Thomas shame the blacks, and Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann shame women, it is up to Hispanics to produce leaders that stay true to the progressive and humane policies that all people of every group crave.
All groups must learn again to open their eyes and learn to once again to vote their values and self interest. It is long past time for the lies and excuses proulgated by the radical Conservative Teabaggers that use fear-mongering to twist the electorate into unnaturally boosting policies of greed and xenophobia.
