Journalists angry over the commission of journalism - Glenn Greenwald - Salon.com

When journalists are no longer able to report facts, but must present "all sides of a story" only to present the beliefs of people that do not agree with the facts, there is no longer any profession of journalism to discuss.

Journalism today has been co-opted by this kind of thinking. It generally falls to radical Conservatives to complain about a liberal bias in the media, but that is only from the reporting of facts that the lunatic Conservative fringe is unhappy with.

The right hides behind their demonization of "elites", "Left wing media", and fictional reading of history.

It doesn't help that journalism today has embraced the star system, and is often unwilling to report on the subjects that they cover because they have become too close to be objective. It's gotten to the point now that objectivity is no longer recognized when it shows itself.

The result of this evil spiral is the advent of radical conservative talk radio and the vile and Orwellian named Fox News Channel.
