Better off bankrupt - Los Angeles Times

Better off bankrupt - Los Angeles Times

Yes, I know the feeling. It's a roiling in your stomach, a feeling that you want to vomit your guts out, to somehow purge from your system the poison that has degraded your body, and left you weak and shaken. That is the feeling you get after reading this awful and dishonest editorial from those twin pillars of immorality and greed, Newt Gingrich and Jeb Bush.

They have come up with a proposal to have states walk away from contracts negotiated in good faith with their workers. They wish to wipe away debt, liabilities and in the process undermine the middle class in the most destructive way possible.

It's not surprising that two evil lowlifes would come up with such a vile plan. It's just a disheartening commentary on this country that this sort of a plan can be met with seriousness.
