Very Few Good Men

Scene:

Downey: [nervously] Colonel Jessup said he ordered the Code Red! What did we do wrong?
Galloway: It's not that simple...
Downey: [anxiously] What did we do wrong? We did nothing wrong!
Dawson: Yeah we did. We were supposed to fight for people who couldn't fight for themselves. We were supposed to fight for Willy.

There are many "Willys" stuck in airports, or cowering in refugee camps. What is it that this country now demands from them in exchange for escape from persecution or war? They must worship in an approved religion.

Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, a holdover from the Obama Administration, knew her time in office was short. The inevitable approval of the racist Trump nominee just days away, she could have just resigned rather than enforce what she knew to be an unconstitutional and unconscionable order. She didn't go that route.

She publicly ordered her department to ignore the order and was promptly sacked by the clown prince of "You're fired!". Nonetheless, her heroic statement is a reminder to all, that "following orders" is no excuse when the orders are illegal or immoral.

You don't need a patch on your shoulder to have honor.
