Today was my friend Mark's headstone unveiling. It was a peaceful day at the cemetery. At the conclusion of the service I was honored to make a few short remarks:
"I still find it unfathomable the Mark is gone. Last August feels like just yesterday, and at the same time, a hundred years ago. I think of Mark often, and I know I always will."
I feel like calling him up and telling him all about it.
