This issue, perhaps more than any other, is in dire need of context. Why is the question never answered by the Conservatives. The debt has increased as a direct result of the need to bring the economy back from the abyss it was headed to when Obama took office. Arguing against the debt is arguing for the economic destruction of the country, no ifs, ands, or buts.
