Tony Blair: Mubarak is 'immensely courageous and a force for good' | World news | guardian.co.uk

Tony Blair, the personal valet for George W. Bush, who followed him into the disaster that was and is Iraq, believes that Hosni Mubarak is just a helluva guy. Imagine that! If a dictator is cooperative with you, that makes him so very good. I wonder how Blair would like to have lived under that same Mubarak regime. Somehow, I think he might have a different opinion of him.

When the West plays ball with dictators of any stripe, and the inevitable revolution comes along we bemoan how the new boss(es) might hold some kind of a grudge against us. It happens time and again, and will likely continue.
