Richard Fisher to Ron Paul: Get Your Own House in Order First - CNBC

Ron Paul is an insidious fellow. What may sound like "good ol' common sense" is often a radical Conservative talking point couched in homey and comfortable faux libertarianism. If the Paul program were ever implemented, this country would find itself yanked out of the 21st century and back into the unstable and dangerous mid-19th century. Without a central bank, our country's economic life would cease to exist. Gold and all it's attendant instability would rule the day. We've been down that road, and political maturity dictates that Paul's ramblings be dismissed post haste.
