While I hate to rain on a parade, the events in Egypt, while momentous, do not yet portend a glorious and peaceful democracy sprouting any time soon. Mubarak ceded power to the military, but that is where the power has always been. I hope that there won't be too many deaths as Egypt hopefully takes steps to implement a new government.
