Sure, you can say what you want. There is no law against lying in the public square. Many do it. What happens when it gets amplified by radio and TV outlets? What happens when it is presented on "news" channels and "newstalk" outlets? When does freedom of speech become dangerous propaganda?
Intelligent people are quite capable of answering these questions. What about the large cohort of people that cannot correctly answer these questions? What happens when an uneducated, latently racist, and economically challenged audience that is looking for easy answers stumbles upon the bleatings of Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or the entirety of Fox News?
The political polarization of this country is being exploited and exacerbated by the narcissistic and self promoting clowns of the radical Conservative right wing. The Becks, Limbaughs, and Murdoch's Fox News, are poison to the body politic.
