Shameful pandering in the Bible Belt. They have no respect for the uniquely American values of the separation of church and state. These yahoos decry the theocratic states of the middle east, but have no problem emulating them with their own preferred religion. Their xenophobia about European culture, (can't be like the damn Europeans!) is matched by their proud racism against any brown colored people. Yet, all American principles and protections against unreasonable search and seizure, intrusive and humiliating airport pat downs, allowing unrestrained illegal wiretaps, and that Congress shall make no law respecting any religion, are all so readily handed away.
The radical Conservatives decry the loss of American exceptionalism, but it has been freely given up by these self same cowards.
