Debit Card Predators - NYTimes.com

ATM usage saves banks money, yet they charge to use it. Banks foisted debit cards on their customers as "better" than credit cards, but have less safeguards. They have turned the necessary industry of banking into a slimy pit of small print, inane charges, and slipshod fiduciary recklessness. They are not to be trusted, and by all rights should be re-regulated to the fullest extent possible for the economic good of this country.
