The Whoremaster Speaketh!

This is Senator Vitter, of the great state of Louisiana. Yeah, the one that didn't have the decency to resign in disgrace after first denying then admitting his frequent use of prostitutes as part of the DC Madam scandal. He remains popular in Louisiana, the state that always has such colorful and felonious elected officials. Oh that colorful Christian electorate! Laissez les bons temps rouler! He was the one that called for Clinton to resign, among many other falsely righteous and lying, adulterous Republicans. Well, that's all in the past now. He has a new mount... to ride now. He's banging...the drum for repeal of the 14th Amendment in the immoral quest to deny children of undocumented people the right to citizenship even if they are born in this country. He claims that Congress had no intention for that amendment to be used as written. He says it should only be applied to freed slaves.

I wonder if he thinks that the second amendment really meant for assault rifles, handguns with massive extending magazine clips, armor piercing bullets and the like were in the mind of the framers when they wrote that law. Somehow, he can reach back in time and read the mind of mid 19th century Congress. Can he not do the same for the 18th century Congress?
